“In Glorious Colour” art competition – £1,500 and London show in prizes – 3 Feb deadline – by Saatchi Online Gallery
January 12, 2014 · Saatchi Online issued a call for entries to a free-to-enter art competition “In Glorious Colour” with deadline 3 February 2013.
Submit work in any medium painting, photography, sculpture, collage, installation, etc. and in any style abstract, figurative, surrealism, realism, urban art etc.
Entrants must have an account with Saatchi online, and work uploaded there, which is also free of charge and a good idea anyway since it is a genuine way of selling fine art online. Only hitch is you do need high resolution photos to upload.
The submission period will begin on January 20th and will run until February 3rd. More details will be made available on January 20th at www.saatchionline.com/showdown.
The winner and runner-up of In Glorious Colour will receive art materials to the value of £1000 and £500 GBP respectively.
The Showdown exhibition, featuring the work of the 10 finalists will take place at Winsor & Newton’s gallery, the Griffin Gallery, in London from 20 March- 18 April.
