UpstArt Brighton is a collaboration of three Brighton-based artists: Hayley and Francesca from Artshed Brighton and Ann from Papier Maverick. The UpstArt Brighton Eco Christmas Gallery & Shop opens at Dynamite Gallery this Friday 3 December.
With 30+ unique eco artists and makers, there are things you’ve never seen before. From plantable Christmas cards, to fine art. From candles to ghost net sculptures. From soap to lighting. From jewellery to handmade books. From kitsch to out of this world. Plus 17 eco artist-led workshops where you can take a break from the Christmas madness, get creative and make a gift – or make a gift to yourself. There’s spoon carving, book making, weaving, ring making, shibori dyeing, family LEGO, Christmas lanterns, mobile making, mosaics, subversive stitching, tinsel town tiaras, creative writing and more.
