This is a fantastic opportunity to work with Onca, a charity that inspires creativity and positive action in the face of environmental change. Through Sussex University, we are looking for a recent graduate from the University of Sussex to join the Onca team for 3 months in the run up to the festive period and beyond, to support the development and realisation of the Onca Gallery shop.
If you have experience and are interested in helping us develop our sales – online and in person – whilst also working with the whole team to expand our collection and liase with artists, you will be surrounded by passionate and enthusiastic people who will fully support you to achieve in your role.

Length: One-year contract, with possibility to extend (with a three month trial period)
Hours: 3 to 4 days (between 22.5 – 30 hours) per week

This is a fantastic opportunity to guide the development of the ONCA Trust, a charity that inspires creativity and positive action in the face of environmental change. ONCA was founded in 2012, and runs the vibrant ONCA Gallery in central Brighton. At the beginning of this year, we expanded and now ‘Upstairs at ONCA’ is a research and studio space used by creative freelancers, environmental charities and universities – exploring the benefits of multidisciplinary collaboration. In addition, ONCA recently received funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England for a two-year programme entitled ‘Navigating Change’.
We are working towards becoming more sustainable as an organisation, and are looking for a Strategic Director with a passion for arts and ecology who will help us to deliver this. The successful candidate will be a skilled and proactive team leader, with an excellent grasp of fundraising, change management and elements of audience development.
