CINECITY Film Festival 2015 ** 13-29 Nov 2015 ** Brighton
CINECITY The Brighton Film Festival returns for its 13th edition this November with the very best in international cinema and a global mix of premieres and previews, artists’ cinema and installations, treasures from the archive, retrospectives, free education screenings and events, talks and debates.
Presented in partnership with Picturehouse Brighton, Screen Archive South East and the University of Brighton, CINECITY is the region’s major celebration of film. Our patrons include Nick Cave, Barry Adamson, Ben Wheatley, Paddy Considine and Steve Coogan.
In 2014 we presented previews, several months ahead of release, of GIRLHOOD, THE DUKE OF BURGUNDY, TIMBUKTU, THE TRIBE, WILD TALES and many more. Our opening night film was the UK premiere of BIRDMAN.
