Are you organised, enthusiastic and keen to gain experience in a vibrant arts organisation? Lighthouse is seeking an Operations Assistant who will support our team, provide great customer care, and help run our creative venue.
Lighthouse is an arts and culture agency that connects new developments in art, technology and society. We produce commissions, exhibitions, events and education schemes that support radical new contemporary art, digital culture, music, film and much more. Our programmes include Guiding Lights, the UK’s leading mentoring scheme for filmmakers, Lighthouse Studio, a residency programme for creatives to develop their practice and build an audience, and Progress Bar, a club night for “cutting edge thinking and dancing” (FACT Magazine). We are a co-founder of Brighton Digital Festival and we present our work in our Brighton venue as well as across the globe, in partnership with leading festivals and institutions.
Our new Operations Assistant will be at the heart of our organisation, supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of our lively building and providing essential admin support to our office team. The successful candidate will enjoy working with the public and will take pride in helping our visitors enjoy their experience at Lighthouse.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience of administration and operations in the arts, in a supportive and friendly working environment and a stimulating atmosphere to work and learn.
If you have the skills and enthusiasm – and would like the opportunity to work with an innovative and influential arts organisation based in the heart of Brighton – we’d love to hear from you.
