Pleasantly surprised by the success of her 2012 exhibition “People, Places, Poetry and Things”, and her participation in the 2014 Open Show, both at the Hop, Helen is returning with her latest collection of recent work. Now unable to go regularly into the country to paint landscapes, she has turned to painting views of Lewes from her new home. As well as the stunning views across the rooftops of Lewes she enjoys depicting people, often performing everyday tasks, sometimes in scenes inspired by myth and poetry.
