VISUAL ARTS TECHNICIAN Art/Textiles fixed term from 1 September 2014 to 17 July 2015 Salary: £ 15,326 per annum based on a full time salary of £17,790 per annum
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced technician to support the practical work in our well-equipped and busy Visual Arts Department. The post will be fixed term, based on a contract for 37 hours a week for 40 weeks a year term time plus 6 days. However, due to the practical demands of the post, the normal working day is 8.15 to 4.50 with a half hour lunch break on four days, with one shorter day of 5 hours. Support staff on a 40 week a year contract are generally required to work for 6 days during college holidays, but the extra hours accrued during term time will mean those hours have will have already been worked.
