ink_d gallery announces PUSHING PAINT, a show featuring a select group of established and up-and-coming artists chosen to represent contemporary ‘painting’.
PUSHING PAINT will showcase a set of artists using oil on canvas in a variety of different ways. From washes that have dried on the day, to canvases so thick with paint they have taken a year to dry. There will be a variety of both subject matter and style and the list below includes artists that have been working with ink_d since the gallery opened, right through to artists showing for the first time. Several of these artists are receiving much acclaim at the moment.
There will be work from well known current ink_d artists: Jake Wood-Evans, John Simpson, Sarah Shaw , Garry Smith and talented new comers to ink_d: Harry Adams, Enzo Marra and Tim Fawcett
