Ink_d gallery are thrilled to announce the forthcoming solo show by Jamie Hewlett (creator of Tank Girl and Gorillaz)
Produced over a period of five years, ‘The Suggestionists’ is three new bodies of work focusing on universal themes of providence, sex and nature. Taking inspiration from sources such as the pines of the South of France, erotic 70’s film posters and the Tarot de Marseille by Camoin and Jodorowsky, this exhibition gives a glimpse into Jamie’s other world of influences and interests.
The Suggestionists was first shown at the Saatchi Gallery at the end of last year and we are very privileged that Jamie has chosen ink_d gallery as its next location. The body of work on show in the gallery has been carefully chosen for the space and the gallery will be overtaken with Jamie’s vision.
