Now in the 22nd year, the festival attracted over 300 different artists and makers to be part of Artwave, with 2015 being the busiest year to date. For two weeks from 22 August over 100 artists’ homes, gardens, galleries, studios and other great venues open their doors to the public. Entry is free and visitors are able to enjoy an eclectic mix of mediums including; paintings, jewellery, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, ceramics. It’s a great day out – view art, meet artists, watch demonstrations or take part in events, discover intriguing and unusual venues, and treat yourself to tea and cake!
