Towner is an award winning art gallery, showcasing artists of national and international significance and presenting works from our acclaimed collection. We place learning and a commitment to access at the very heart of everything we do, building on the original vision of the gallery’s philanthropic founder to create ‘an art gallery for the people’.
On 1 July 2014, Towner became an independent charitable Trust, governed by a Board of Trustees and chaired by David Dimbleby. We are supported by Eastbourne Borough Council and Arts Council England through their National Portfolio Programme.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to support, develop and promote excellence in contemporary artistic practice and partnerships; delivering a world class exhibitions programme and cementing Towner as an important regional gallery with national and international significance.
You will have significant experience in delivering successful exhibitions to an international standard; commissioning and supporting artists at different stages of their careers and a commitment to learning and engagement.
£32,000 per annum
This is a permanent, full-time role
