From every Monday this shop will change hands and house a different project.
The opening of a new pop-up shop changing every week featuring a broad range of start up ideas from young entrepreneurs and creatives.
This is a year long project which will house 52 different projects. Come along to the grand opening of the shop and see the works from artist Becky Bick.
The first solo exhibition of Brighton based artist Becky Bick. Bringing together a series of sculptures and site-specific interventions for the first time.
The installation includes bathroom products, light bulbs and deserts. Her practice is temporal, tactile and playful. By using materials that are associated with personal appearance or that are private or taboo, Bick raises questions concerning the objects and practices of how we define the individual in the 21st century. At times it’s darkly humorous, watch out where you walk.
The show will open on Friday the 13th of February 2015 at 7pm, and then will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday the 14th and 15th from 10am to 5.30pm.
‘It is what it is’ is situated on 103 Gloucester Road, North Laine, Brighton.
