Inspired by McLuhan’s The Medium is the Message, the project focuses on communication and community. Visitors will have the chance to curate their own unique book. At PHOENIX BRIGHTONFormat Video and Photography Network host a discussion event asking questions about the nature and function of artists’ collectives in relation to still or moving image work. The group will present a critical and discursive take on the philosophical or ideological positions that are central to this kind of collaboration. This event is open to the public as well as the other exhibiting collectives. Free, no booking required.
