Towner gallery is excited to present the first display in their new permanent, dedicated Ravilious Room, which will include a selection of his finest watercolours. Towner holds one of the largest public collections of his work, and we are keen to make this popular artist available to our audience in a space where you can sit and linger and enjoy his unique views of Sussex, the South Downs, and surrounding areas.
The room will also feature specially commissioned cabinets in which items from the Ravilious archive can be viewed and enjoyed. Copies of the wide range of Ravilious books will also be available for you to read.
