BPF 2014: Assembly – Anthony Luvera ** 6-27 Sep 2014 ** Phoenix Brighton
Assembly is a solo exhibition by Anthony Luvera who has been working with homeless people living in Brighton & Hove to create photographs and sound recordings. It will include his ongoing series Assisted Self-Portraits.
As the Projects & Events hub for this year’s BPF, Phoenix Brighton will also be the setting for a Photo Publishers’ Market in collaboration with Photoworks and Miniclick. In addition, Format and Wideyed photography collectives will showcase their archives, alongside an exhibition for Black History Month.This year’s BPF programme features over 80 exhibitions and events across the city of Brighton & Hove and along the South East coast. BPF 14 is one of the largest and most inclusive photography festivals in the UK, and it connects early-career artists to a global audience.
