Pallant House Gallery seeks a Senior Art Technician to support the Curatorial team and Collections Manager with the care of the collections and delivery of high standards of presentation of exhibition and display. The Senior Art Technician will manage the Art Technicians and all art handling functions through active participation in the protection and safe movement, preparation, installation and storage of all art objects within the Gallery. The Senior Art Technician will oversee the maintenance of equipment relevant to the safe handling of art objects and will ensure safe working practices are in place, as well as being sensitive to the needs of artwork of various mediums and proactively applying approved methods of packing, handling, framing and installation.
