Jerwood spring show will be an exhibition of painting by Ansel Krut (b. 1959). Krut’s painting focuses around subverting still life by linking objects to create improbable, playful and often dark human forms.
Krut was awarded second prize in the Jerwood Drawing Prize 2004 for his work ‘Heartless Roach’. The exhibition will bring together a selection of Krut’s works which profile the output of this extraordinary and influential artist.
